Description:

Castrol DOT 4 Brake Fluid is a synthetic brake fluid made from glycol and borate esters to provide a higher boiling point and wet boiling point.

Usage:

Castrol DOT 4 Brake Fluid is designed for use in all braking systems, especially those subjected to extreme conditions. Like all brake fluids containing glycol ethers, care should be taken to avoid spilling the product on painted surfaces, as it may cause damage. In case of spillage, rinse the affected area with water immediately; do not wipe it.

All conventional brake fluids degrade during use. Therefore, it is highly recommended to use Castrol DOT 4 Brake Fluid and change it according to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendations. If no such recommendation is available, a two-year replacement period is advised.

This product is formulated from a mixture of polyalkylene glycol and borate esters with high-performance additives and inhibitors to provide maximum protection for the braking system:

• High boiling points to reduce vapor lock

The formulation is designed to maintain the vapor lock point at a higher level than conventional glycol ether fluids over the product's service life.

Castrol DOT 4 Brake Fluid is fully compatible with other fluids meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4. However, to maintain the superior performance characteristics of Castrol DOT 4 Brake Fluid, it is recommended to avoid mixing it with other brake fluid products.
